Schröckenfux Austrian snath

This snath by Schröckenfux is crafted from high-quality, selected ash and impresses with excellent workmanship. The ergonomic, curved scythe body rests comfortably in your hand even during prolonged mowing and enables a natural, energy-saving posture. Schröckenfux is one of Austria’s most traditional scythe smiths and stands for precise craftsmanship and durable products.

You can adjust the handles on the snath using the existing drill holes so that the grip spacing perfectly suits you. For simple orientation, use your arm length: Place the upper handle in your right armpit and extend your right arm forward. If you can loosely grasp the lower grip with your hand while your arm is extended, the grip spacing is in a good range. When correctly adjusted, the scythe glides noticeably easier through the grass – and mowing becomes significantly more comfortable.

The snath is available in several sizes and comes with handles and a ring/ring wrench for attaching the scythe blade.

• Short model: suitable for persons approx. 120–155 cm
• Medium model: suitable for persons approx. 155–170 cm
• Long model: suitable for persons approx. 170–185 cm
• Extra-long model: suitable for individuals approx. 190–200 cm
