This scythe set is ideal when you want to mow on uneven lawn or meadow surfaces. The heavier scythe blade is also very well suited for mowing tougher vegetation – e.g. tough grasses, ferns, small shrubs, and young trees up to max. 0.5 cm diameter. In combination with the Tyrolean wooden snath from Schröckenfux, you have a robust set designed for long-term use. This snath from Schröckenfux is made from high-quality, selected ash wood and impresses with excellent craftsmanship. The ergonomic, curved snath sits comfortably in your hand even during extended mowing and enables a natural, energy-saving posture. For sharpening on the go or directly after peening, whetstones from the German manufacturer Zische as well as a Schröckenfux whetstone holder are included in the set.
