Whetstone Set “Allround” | Two Whetstones (Coarse and Fine) incl. Plastic Whetstone Holder

This set provides everything you need for regular sharpening of your scythe or sickle in the field: a coarse and a fine whetstone from Zische as well as the waterproof Schröckenfux plastic whetstone holder with sturdy metal attachment. This enables you to resharpen your cutting edge directly on site while mowing.

Included in the set:

• Zische whetstone coarse – grit 150: for rough sharpening, repairing damage, or quick resharpening of dull cutting edges.
• Zische fine whetstone – Silicar Rotmarke, Grit 400: for precise fine sharpening and a sharp cutting edge, for re-honing thinly peened scythe blades.
• Schröckenfux whetstone holder: waterproof plastic holder with metal attachment for belt mounting. The whetstone remains permanently in water in the holder and is thus always ready for use.

By combining these two grits, you get a flexible whetstone setup for very coarse and fine work. Together with the whetstone holder, you have a complete basic kit for honing.

Application

Fill the whetstone holder with water before use, attach it to your belt, and insert the appropriate whetstone. During mowing, the whetstone remains permanently moist and is always quickly accessible – for regular honing.
